Dear Church Family:

 

The Sunday School directors, deacons, and worship leaders are planning a special church day on Sunday, October 17, 2004.  We will be having a High Attendance Day for Sunday School and a Special Worship Service of testimony sharing, special singing, and reading of God’s Word.  We believe that it will be a tremendous blessing for all involved.

 

During this time, we will be taking the digital photos that will be used to compile a pictorial directory for our church. A photo of each family will be taken by volunteers from our church and will be used exclusively for the church directory (pictures will not be available for purchase).  Please make a special effort to be here and have your family included in this directory.  We will begin taking photos at 8:00 a.m. for those who want to come early.  No photos will be taken during the Sunday School hour; however, the worship service is being conducted in such a way as to allow for taking photos during that time.  Additional sessions will be scheduled in the up-coming weeks to take photos of families that are not able to attend on October 17^th.

 

Many of our church members have expressed a desire to have a living will made.  Because of this, there will be a representative available from Valdese General Hospital to explain what a living will is.   Anyone planning to take advantage of this service must be here at 9:00 a.m.  The presentation and instructions will be given as a group and then assistance will be given individually to those who need it.  Notaries will also be available to verify the signature portion to make the documents legal.  Now is the time to take advantage of this opportunity.

 

Following the worship service a meal will be provided.  Please take time to participate in this time of fellowship and delicious food.  May God bless us all together as we strive to live pleasing to Him in all that we do.
